Immigrant from Austria

I arrived to Chile in 1999, with a large back-pack and no Spanish skills at all. As a complete greenhorn, I started as a tourist guide in Pucón and - little by little - learned the language and Chilean mentality.

Trips and tours

As of the year 2000, I guided group tours in Southern Chile, creating new routes and destinations, tailored for agencies located in Europe. As I also worked as a licensed mountain guide, I was even able to take my guests to the top of active volcano Villarrica.

Tourism agency

After gaining experience, I opened up my own tourism agency in Pucón, Southern Chile, where I managed, guided and created new experiences for our international guests.

Chile T(o)uristico today

Today, I am living in Concepción, Central Chile, where I dedicate my time to creating new touristic projects, technical on-site translation and interpretation, and my family.
