City Tour Concepción
A city tour in Concepción is a great experience as you get to know vital parts of Chilean history, starting at the Plaza de la Independencia. It is not only the fountain brought to Chile from Liverpool, England, but the two statues of "conquistador" Pedro de Valdivia and Lautaro (Leftraru in Mapudungun), a Mapuche freedom fighter, which provide the plaza with a unique charm.
Also part of a city tour in Concepción is the Parque Ecuador with the local historical museum and the picturesque German Firefighter Company. On top of the local hill, Cerro Caracol, there is a Bismarck Tower which is the one and only viewpoint over Concepción, San Pedro, Hualpén and Talcahuano.

Concepción and its lakes
When in Concepción, Chile, you may ask yourself about the names of the several lakes and lagoons in and around Concepción. Our city tours pass by the well-known ones, which are Laguna Redonda (round lagoon) and Laguna Tres Pascualas (famous for its horror stories), but there are more of them: laguna Lo Custodio, laguna Lo Galindo, laguna Lo Méndez and laguna Pineda.
